These are the reasons I said the 22 team could score as long as they handled the pressure. If you stopped the pressure from the 17 team, they fell part as the LBs weren't good in coverage and DBs can't cover for a long time no matter who they are.

The LBs didn't just forget how to play without Poz, they just were never great to begin with in coverage. Telvin and Miles had the same problems guessing run/pass, run fits and guessing on the hole, etc. They had a better DL and were able to use speed to overcome the coverage and other issues.

LBs that don't have to deal with OL are free to use their speed to make plays and the 17 defense did that well. The DL made the rest of the defense and they feasted on all the poor decisions made by the backup QBs.

The LB zone coverage gets exploited by Trevor as long as they don’t get immediate pressure.
