Josh Allen is 5th in the NFL in total pressures

The eye test says this to me: Josh Allen has been a below average pass rusher this year, and most of his career is about average for a starting full time defensive end. He’s a good player overall but he’s not a good pass rusher.
The last couple of games have been better but that’s after being MIA for the previous month. He has 6 sacks in 16 games. Part time pass rush production for a full time starter isn’t good. Last year he has 7 sacks I think. Like I said, good player but if that’s our best pass rusher then no wonder we’ve struggled getting to the QB in many games this year. A defensive end that has an 8 game stretch without a sack is not a good pass rusher.
