Not true.  Jags fans don't root for a loss when the playoffs are on the line.  Who do you see rooting for a loss on this board?

It's been a while since the Jags were close to being in the same position as the Tacks are right now - backing into the playoffs with a team that will likely be eliminated in the first round.  It was probably either 2010 or 2011. *

You were around back then, so I know you remember that guy that wanted the Jags to lose every game because he was hoping to be rid of Jack del Rio.  He wasn't alone, either.   Looking back, the team was actually overachieving.

The 2022 Jags aren't in the Tacks' current position.  Even if the team loses, most of us will be disappointed for a month, the board will empty out until March, and we'll move on.  Most of us realize the Jags exceeded expectations and quite a few of us are on the record as having expected a much worse season.  Most of us realize that a Jags team that can't take down Sunday's Tack team has no business being in the playoffs anyways...

...but not all of us.  I'd rather not find out, but I bet 20% of us will revert right back to the same damn negativity we see here after every loss.  The same 20% that always do.  If we were in the Tacks position, it would be 30% too.
