I would hate to see this team entering the draft in three months from now trying to backfill so many damn positions with quality selections. Tag Engram, that solves your TE1 problem. I am assuming Taylor ends up walking which leaves you with Little playing RT next year. So, we're spared there. I think Williams is fine at outside CB opposite of Campbell so now you're also not pressing to fill out that position and you can find a nickel CB later on.

The first two or three picks in this draft coming up really need to players that come in quickly and instantly fill a position of need. We NEED a pass rushing presence. Whether that's from the interior or edge. Doesn't matter. We're going to NEED one. Period. You're looking at Allen entering his 5th year, Key, Smoot and Robertson-Harris hitting the market. With the injury and age concerns revolving around Robinson at LT, Bartch at LG and Scherff at RG you cannot leave this draft without addressing one or two of those positions early as well.

Good, competitive footballs teams that are typically always in the play off race or discussion are known for primarily developing and building up their trenches consistently. This is something Baalke has to master in order to maintain our potential death grip on the AFC South for the next decade+.

Sauce Gardner leads the NFL in passes defended…guess who is tied for 2nd place in the NFL with Jalen Ramsey?

If you guessed Williams then you would be right. He has 15 PD, and Campbell is just below him with 14.

I agree with you that Williams will be fine on the outside.
