Does anyone know what Jaguars player has converted the most total first downs in a single game?
My initial guess is Jimmy Smith’s 291 game against the Ravens in 2000. Then I thought maybe it was McCardell’s 18 receptions for 232 yards against the Rams in 1996. Then maybe I thought it was Taylor’s 3 TD game against the Bucs and Browns in his rookie year in 1998. After googling and searching statmuse for almost an hour, I got tired of searching. As a team the most first downs converted was 36 against the Rams in 1996, but what Jaguars player holds the single game record for most first downs rushing and receiving combined?
