They should let Jimmy go and roll with Lance and Purdy. This is just more proof that you can plug any QB into that system and they'll be successful. No need to overpay for Jimmy.

Yeah plenty of QB needy teams, someone will take a chance on Jimmy G. Lance has been so unlucky with injuries but Purdy is doing pretty damn well right now, wouldn't be surprised if they made him the starter next year. Like you say, it's Shanahan and his genius system that's the main thing at work.
