At this point in his career, Carr is like Matt Ryan was in 2021. Some desperate team is gonna think he still has enough in the tank to make them a contender, but the reality is that he was a slightly better than average QB who's best days are behind him and he is on a sharp decline. At this point, I really don't know if he offers the Saints anything more than Andy Dalton did last year, but being so far over the cap and picking so late in the first round, they are pretty much in a no win situation. Maybe the best thing for New Orleans to do would be to keep the status quo at QB, take their lumps in 2023 and position themselves to draft one of the top QB's in 2024, although I haven't bothered to even look who is projected to be a top QB in 2024.
