I’ve always thought that Carr was extremely overrated.  I think he’s a mid-tier QB.  He needs to be in a really good situation to succeed.  He’s never been a QB that could carry a team on a consistent basis.

That said, to say he’s in some sort of steep decline is a bit ridiculous.  Which was/is my point all along.
I thought he was overrated, then he impressed me a bit, then he fell back in line with my previous impression.

I think a good situation could "resurrect" him to upper mid-tier with a strong supporting cast, but he probably won't be worth the money spent
