They should be honest and open about such actions, but there is no enforceable legal requirement for that. Fox News is allowed to prefer Trump over Biden and do favors for Trump such as repeating some of his campaign claims. But they are not allowed to repeat his lies when they know they are lies and especially not when it defames a third party.
