Blackmon in car accident
|
Quote:His tire popped. Causing his car to go into a ditch. I don't disagree. I've seen vehicles travel 300 feet into the woods, through significant plantlife, and end up upside down in a ditch. During that investigation, all of my training suggested that the driver traveled at least twice the speed limit. I didn't have enough evidence to support it, but anyone that had any idea knew the driver was driving recklessly. My point here is that, sometimes, we know things to be true that we can't prove. It sounds stupid, but that's the way it works. I'm not even saying that Blackmon did anything wrong; I'm only saying that the possibility exists that he could've been doing something he shouldn't have been doing. While dropping the citation certainly helps his case, it doesn't prove that he wasn't driving carelessly. I'm not on the cut Blackmon or Blackmon-is-a-loser bandwagon, BTW. Just saying that those that do feel that way can still use this to support their argument. |
