Monroe has been, IMO, just above average for a starting LT. With the change to protecting a better QB in Flacco, instead of Gabbert/Henne, Monroe's perceived effectiveness as a LT will likely go up. As we have really not seen Joeckel playing in live games at LT as yet, it is hard to tell where his career may end up compared to Monroe. However, if the Jags draft a new QB early next year, Joeckel will likely have had the better QB for more of his early career than Monroe had respectively.
