Calais last season would have been a valuable addition based on his play alone. Let's not act like the dude is washed up garbage. He's not 2017 level, but he's still one of the better DL in the league, especially in a rotational role

Agreed. My expectation is that our offense takes a herculean step forward in 2023 with Ridley added and the rest of this offense mostly intact and more familiar in Pederson's offense under Lawrence's leadership.

Those turnovers and misfires we saw last year earlier on some of those opening drives or early 1st Quarter drives are going to be converted into TD's. When we start getting up to 14+ point leads early? Especially in this division where we'll have three new QB's more than likely with two of those QB's being under new staffs?

It's a perfect storm of an opportunity for this defense to thrive. Campbell being rotated in on 2nd and long (a run play not being out of the question here, still enables his strength to impact either play) and 3rd and long where you know it's an obvious passing situation only benefits this team.

Could you imagine Walker and Campbell lined up on one side of the football field? With Tyson Campbell already getting the reputation of QB's shying away from his side of the football field in the secondary? It just gives us a [BLEEP] ton of opportunities to attack an offense. You could now start to flush the QB to one side of the football field where Josh Allen will be.

Maybe we throw Devin Lloyd out there with him like he did at Utah so he can use his speed more to get after the QB. Maybe we'll [BLEEP] around and draft an edge rusher on the opening night of the draft after all like a Nolan Smith or Will McDonald IV. There's just a lot of opportunity here to create turnovers, create better field position, etc.
