We depend on Anheuser-Busch here locally for 12,000 loads per year, or, 250 loads per week to keep drivers turning in Jacksonville. They have been slow in general this year. This stunt didn't surprise me. I can also tell you from my experience and position working with them post-covid that they have had one hell of a revolving door of logistics, planning, transportation and warehouse managers.
This could have been an attempt to rekindle or spark some kind of interest towards their products. With gas prices high and inflation costing everything to go up I highly doubt most sane people would be prioritizing their watered down alcohol to begin with though. It's becoming trendy though for men to replace women and obliterate their gender in a wide variety of areas. Strange times. Like Carlin said. When you are born into this world you're born into the freakshow. When you're born here in the states? You get front row seats. The fact that this is being pushed down our throats constantly despite a majority blow back should be the most eyebrow-raising thing though. Companies just don't seem to give a [BLEEP] or they have flat out shown just how out of touch they are with their consumer bases. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king." |
