Whether the guy is actually as racist as he comes across, or if he's just using immigration policy as a carrot to gain conservative base, it works out badly for immigrants who are already here and undeserving of being pawns in some bull [BLEEP] stunt.

It doesn’t apply but the left wants so desperately to make it so. The border is wide open and being flooded with drugs and *gasp* brown migrants who are overwhelming services in Texas, New York, Chicago and anywhere else the government flies them to in the middle of the night.

DeSantis flies one small plane load to limousine leftist land and they [BLEEP] the bed.
If he did this to white migrants the left wouldn’t give a flying [BLEEP], but since there’s a race card to be played to distract from the real issue, they throw down.

I think your concern over the border is manufactured outrage. 
The issues with our borders are basically no different than they've been for decades and no where near as serious as the fear mongering fueling your concerns about immigration and border safety. 

It needs more thoughtful regulation and it has for some time - but the fear propagated about what and who is crossing our borders is 90% nonsense meant to gather conservative ire and votes. Which makes such stunts (funded by taxpayers) even more annoyingly pointless.
