Fox News wants you to assume that fewer people were able to sneak in under Trump, compared to the number under Obama.  Perhaps that's true.  All we know is that the number of people who were caught went up.  Then it went up even more under Biden.  All the while the ratio of people apprehended over people encountered doesn't seem to change much, so perhaps the ratio of people caught over people not caught is also about constant? I don't know, and you don't know either.

I don't think the numbers fluctuate that much from Obama's terms to Trump's.. Trump just made us more aware of the problem and tried to fix it.

They have been increasing as the left has been busy putting in roads, busses, stopping points, and even forcing governments to allow/provide transportation to the next stop. Then the NGOs feed them, give them whatever, free stuff, etc.

Caught vs uncaught doesn't really matter. If they are caught they will just be released anyways so it won't matter they still end up here illegally. Caught may just temporarily stop someone from entering but if they are denied and/or deported they will just go the longer route and not turn themselves in.

Plus can you even call it catching them if they literally are looking to turn themselves into CBP?
