They are virtually the same exact QB with the same exact style. Only difference is that Hurts was able to get it done in the post season whereas Jackson has yet to pull off anything special in that regard. 

I would go in and give him an offer anywhere between 3-5% less across the board that Hurts got for the reasons cited above.

Naw there's a pretty big difference between the two. Hurts' team around him is far better than the team around Lamar. Hurts' team is stacked on Offense and Defense. The team around Lamar has only gotten worse these past two seasons.

Which is why you have to wonder what he'll do when his salary is eating up 30% of the team's cap space. Eventually Hurts will have to overcome his team's deficiencies. Jackson had opportunities in the play-off's to make a name for himself but left a lot to be desired along with points on the football field. 

He's not as good as he thinks he is. As many question marks as this QB class has coming into the NFL. Between Levis' lack of production. Young's size. Stroud's supporting cast at OSU. Hooker's knee injury. Richardson's inexperience and lack of production in spite of the physical intangibles. 

No team is entertaining the Ravens for a contract match or as a trading partner. He's commanding too much. That same team that has gotten worse over these past two seasons is the same team that had to be tailored around his specific skill set as a runner. 

That same team played decent enough in a play-off game without him. Had it not been for a fumble at the goal line it's possible they beat the Bengals in that wildcard game. That same team helped elevate him into an MVP. At this point it's just his pride and ego getting in the way more than anything.

His best shot is San Francisco. Which would probably involve a straight up QB trade of him and Lance and maybe a fair swap of picks. Maybe San Francisco gives up a pair of 2's and a 1 for a pair of 3's and a 2 or something like that to off set the deal.
