I mean it is not really that many picks. It's like having 2 years of later round picks in 1 season, so just give you more "lottery tickets".
No matter how good of a GM/Scout room you have, no team is going to have a really high hit rate throughout the draft, especially the latter half of the draft. So if you double down on every position of need from here on out, you basically double the chances to find a guy who will stick for every position. |
