During his rookie season, don’t expect pro bowl numbers. With Kirk, Jones, Ridley, Etienne, Bigsby, Engram, Agnew, Washington, and Strange we have the luxury of having weapons like we did back in 1999 when we had guys like Jimmy Smith , Keenan McCardell, Fred Taylor, James Stewart, Tavian Banks, Kyle Brady, Reggie Barlow, Stacey Mack, Alvis Whitted, and Chris Howard.

When you have a roster that has that many weapons, he will just have to contribute when his number is called. Accounting for the running plays which will be somewhere between 15-22 rushes per game. Kirk, Ridley and Jones will get the lions share of targets.

That’s not to say he won’t have that game where he gets 6 to 7 targets and ends up with 5 catches for 68 yards and a tub.

I just want to see him catch the balls he’s supposed to and block those DE’s in the dirt through the whistle.
