If they plan on Cam staying once he's served his suspension, and they expect Little to remain a starter aswell then i'd view it as a bandaid selection for the 6-10 games Cam is likely to miss this year, which I wouldn't consider it a needs based selection. 


With that being said, I do like the pick because I'm hopeful that Cam Robinson will be traded off along with his dumb contract allowing us to have more cap space while also getting younger at tackle.

what did you foresee the team doing during Cam's suspension? Ask the chefs to borrow Taylor back for a few weeks?

there's no "could be" about it. That pick addressed a very glaring, albeit short-term, need. And yes, I think the team is setting things up so that they can move on from Cam when it becomes affordable to do so - we have no idea if durability will continue to be a concern as the year(s) drags on, Little's play last season gave evidence that his is capable of playing on the left, and if Cam starts looking for an extension, we're not nearly as desperate this go round as the last time.

Etienne has proven that his style of play gets him banged up, so having a second option is absolutely necessary. I wasn't banking on Hasty as the long-term solution there, were you?
Let me know when Engram signs a long-term deal, at that point you can say TE wasn't a need, too.
