there's no "could be" about it. That pick addressed a very glaring, albeit short-term, need. And yes, I think the team is setting things up so that they can move on from Cam when it becomes affordable to do so - we have no idea if durability will continue to be a concern as the year(s) drags on, Little's play last season gave evidence that his is capable of playing on the left, and if Cam starts looking for an extension, we're not nearly as desperate this go round as the last time.

Etienne has proven that his style of play gets him banged up, so having a second option is absolutely necessary. I wasn't banking on Hasty as the long-term solution there, were you?

All three were needs. 
RB was a little iffy given the FA signing, and I'd have ranked other needs ahead of it, but it makes enough  sense.
Gonna look like a sketchy decision if the RB doesn't pan out though.  

OT was even a need before the suspension IMO as  Cam really didn't play up to his contract last year.

Okay so even if we agree Anton was a need, I still don't see how we would consider Strange or Tank "Needs". I think "Needs based drafting" means you're taking a guy to fill a hole on the roster, particularly a starting position. If you include backups into that category, than BPA vs Needs drafting is no longer an argument, because you basically can just consider every single position a need, regardless if we have a bonafide starter there already or not.
