None of that is true.
You're trying to generalize the crap out of a very specific situation.

I'm sure plenty of folks that share many of my political views have been killed when they foolishly took their activism into illegal and treacherous territory. I find that unfortunate, but they made the beds they lie in.
Just like Babbitt did.

Of course it's true. As long as your activism has a useful narrative, it's a "tragedy." If it doesn't, it's a well-deserved death. You just don't question the narratives that are fed to you. Eyewitness testimony confirmed that Michael Brown was charging a police officer. Hands up, don't shoot is still a rallying cry on the left. It was based on a lie. Which side of that issue were you on? He had just robbed a store, then went to assault a police office. Was he just a piece of crap that deserved to die?

There were a lot of problems in Ferguson.  The leftists are indeed willing to lie to kick off protests, but it usually doesn't work.  There are multiple officer involved shootings in north Florida every year that could become the next catalyst for protests if leftists wanted to lie about them.
Compare Michael Brown to Corey Jones.  Brown, there was a lot of evidence exonerating the officer.  Jones, there was not.  Brown, there were large scale, vigorous and violent protests based on lies about Brown.  Jones, there were only brief protests, only in the one area.
Why?
(1) folks in Ferguson were much more fed up with their police and judges than folks in Palm Beach County.  Listen to the interviews that protestors gave.  They were protesting speeding tickets.  Child support. Landscaping violations. They were just waiting for the right time to air it out.
(2) folks in Palm Beach County mostly believed the officer would be arrested and jailed, and he was.  Because the protestors and the county officials were all agreeing about the facts of the case.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
