Maybe some of them do, but I don't.  I think in order to put down lawlessness, police need to have the threat of force, and it needs to be credible, and the only way to make it credible is to use it.  

I'd say the same thing about the riots in Portland that I say about the riot at the Capitol on January 6.  There's no excuse for either one.

I thought of you when I typed that. I agree that you've been pretty consistent. I also don't really care that she was shot. Officers have difficult choices to make in those moments.
