Jenkins was actually horrible in coverage  (71% completion rate allowed) and we had ~4 games where impactful scoring drives by opponents were readily kept alive by simple wide open passes to slot receivers. 

Fixing the slot coverage will make a big difference (if they find a way to do that) , but they didn't draft three late round safeties by accident. I'm sure they hope one can supplant Jenkins at some point down the road.  He made a handful of incredible plays last season - but his overall body of work included being beaten like a drum when called on to cover. 

To give some interesting perspective on this - Jenkins wouldn't have had to be a hero in that Dallas game last year if Tre Herndon didn't allow 110 yards worth of slot completions to CeeDee Lamb throughout the game. 

Campbell, Williams and Cisco should be good, but it's hard to know what you'll get from Jenkins and whomever mans the nickel.
(Campbell played at an elite level last year, and Williams was borderline elite after he was moved outside - for the record)
