One was a guy giving a marketing opportunity an ill-fated and gimmicky run in teal hot pants.  The other is a dad giving his son an NFL contract out of nowhere.

The difference is clear.  The fact that one bothered so bad you couldn’t go more than six hours without moaning about it while the other gets a congratulatory free pass doesn’t mean you’re an idiot, though.  Unprincipled, certainly, but not an idiot.

He doesn't have a "contract" and he's been an offseason tryout guy on 3 NFL teams in the past. There's nothing fishy about bringing him in. We have a lack of depth at TE
