Glad you guys are liking the history posts and yes I gather all my own info.
Not to get way off topic but the Jaguars won in similar fashion against the Broncos in 2004. The score was 7-6. Quinton Griffin (rookie from Oklahoma) fumbled the ball while the Broncos were on about the 25 yard line and well within FG range with :37 seconds left in the game. Denver decided to run another play to get a little closer for a Jason Elam FG and disaster struck….Griffin fumbled the handoff from Jake Plummer and Akin Ayodele recovered the football. The Jaguars kneel out the clock and win the game 7-6. |
