I don't think DeSantis is racist, but i dont think he's not, either. I do think he is trying to leverage the racism and aspiration of many white voters to get himself in the news and hopefully leapfrog over Donald Trump. People said the same thing about Trump. You could never tell if he was personally racist or just aping for racists, but after a few months or a year, that's the Hamlet dilemma. You play at something long enough it becomes your identity.
