Anheuser Busch Fires Its Entire Marketing Department
|
(08-09-2023, 04:00 PM)The Drifter Wrote: Anheuser-Busch forced to sell off EIGHT of its craft beer brands after a staggering $27 billion loss Beer conglomerates constantly churn lesser brands the same way NFL teams move depth players on and off their roster throughout the offseason/preseason. There's really no story here. Just standard business practice. The prolific rise of the craft beer market and its multitude of brands has only served to increase the frequency with which this common occurrence takes place. AB didn't start most of those brands. They acquired them when they saw them as competition or an opportunity to expand those brands' limited distribution. When those craft products' popularity wanes or suffers from typical market cycles, they let them go. Nothing new, nothing unusual. |
