This could be the best thing ever to happen to Etienne's career. Most coaches beat their star RB into the ground then dump them after their rookie contract expires. Since RBs 2nd contracts are limited, their best case scenario from a financial standpoint is to try to extend their careers as long as possible.

Mebbe that's the plan - run the wheels off Etienne this year, maybe next as well if his legs hold up, then let him go and repeat with Tank while he's still on rookie pay scale.

We got some geniuses (genii?) in the FO!!
