We have a "cover the middle of the field" problem. 

Opposing offenses know that they can get the ball off quickly against our zone linebackers and nickelback with impunity. 

It's not like Josh Allen was getting to the QB late on all of his pressures last year, it's that the QB had a wide open target quickly available on many of those pass rushes.

Solve that problem and a solid portion of those pressures turn into sacks. 

2nd year in the system for these ILBs and some competition at nickel should help. 

Additionally - Lageman and Shadrick recently spoke out of school a bit by revealing a trend they've seen during the no photos/no video portions of practice.  The talk of a more aggressive blitz package is real. They made it sound as if they expect Caldwell to release the hounds this year.
