Snacks in clear plastic bags are allowed. Water in a bottle is hit and miss. I’ve brought bottles in with no problem but on a couple of occasions they’ve told my wife, who had some in her clear carry bag, that she couldn’t bring it in. That’s just bad training by the screeners.
