On 1010 this morning the orthopedic surgeon they have as a weekly guest says the fact Hodges hasn't had surgery at this point is a good sign because it indicates the injury was most likely a dislocated kneecap with a possibility of ligament tears. He says a month on IR should be enough time to mostly recover, but there's still the potential for surgery if the ligaments are torn badly. 

So, there's hope we see Hodges off IR in 4 weeks.
