I am 100% fine with a [BLEEP] ton of run/run/pass

Our playbook has a lot of great run plays and many of them come out of the same formations we pass effectively from
This offense doesn't telegraph the run plays like regimes of the past - just forget that you think you should be upset about run/run/pass - it doesn't matter anymore.

The run plays just have to be blocked more effectively than they were today.

Every time this line had a good day of run blocking last year, it was all sunshine and rainbows around here about ETN's brilliance and Pederson's genius.

When they don't block well - we get "WhY aRe TheY RuNNinG SO mUcH??"

It was largely the same stuff we saw last year. It just wasn't executed and it started in the trenches.

why would you be fine with a predictable play calling scheme when you already acknowledge that our O-Line is not superior?

I feel like you are doubling down on an incorrect assumption.

We only began being successful when we got away from the predictable play calls.  We scored in the first half on plays that were unpredicted or took shots downfeild.

This team is not going to muscle over defensive lines.  This team isn't going to pass protect in a way where our QB can stand in the pocket like a statue.  Why ignore that fact?  I you want to see a run/run/pass offense like from 2009 to 2021, cool.  We'll beat lesser talented teams and win our Division.  Just like Houston used to do.

But that's not the type of offense that's gonna get us to the AFC Championship, must less the SB.  Hopefully our coaches were just keeping things tight for next week.

But if we're just gonna play conservative, we're not gonna beat Kansas City.

I didn't say I want a predictable offense, I said you are focusing on run/run/pass because you were conditioned into that being such a bad thing from our prior coaching staffs.

These guys are never going to be that conservative or predictable, but if they diid, they could still keep defenses off guard as their play designs are simply that much better.

They run and pass out of several formations that look the same.
They use tons of ZBS instead of power run sets.
They disguise [BLEEP] pretty damn well actually.
They'll even keep going to the well when a play isn't being defended by a defense properly.

Prior regimes did none of this.

The offense is fine. the play calling is fine outside two or three wacky decisions.

The players did not execute today at times and that has you scrambling to old explanations that are no longer relevant.
