Part of watching the game in the past was the big hit.  The players are paid tens of millions because it is a violent game and yea there can be injuries just like there always has been.  The pay is well above that in the past and i think they need to just deal and accept that and lay off these "soft" game day experiences.

My thoughts, I am not a big fan of the "softness" of the world as a whole right now, the NFL included.

Easily actually, just quit launching and instead wrap the guy in a hug. That's the only thing that's going to stop this from happening.

And to further piggyback off the wrap up and hug comment. Are the refs going to start blowing the whistle dead then when defenders get the QB in the same position? To prevent those little backyard flicks out there that Mahomes does now or what Richardson did yesterday? 

Are they going to stop allowing these goofy [BLEEP] rugby scrums to stop when a pile occurs and a RB is still upright? This is the problem I have with the NFL. It's clearly geared to favor offenses now while completely neutering defenders and trying to take out as much special teams opportunities on kick-off's and punt returns as much as possible. 

We'll never see another dynamic safety in the NFL anymore or a returner because of these rules. It sucks.
