Whether it's defenseless receivers or mid-air collisions, a lot of these are caused by guys launching themselves like torpedos into a play, and that's a big part of what they are trying to discourage. Contact is fine. Get your base, wrap up, and smack a guy in the mouth, just fine. That's fundamental football. |
