What Press Taylor actually did do, make a couple bad play calls, was completely corrected this week. He ran it, went for it appropriately, kicked FGs at the right moment. Everything that was wrong in weeks 1 and 2 was done right yesterday.

The current whipping boy for all you people would be completely vindicated if the people around him would do their damn jobs. Almost like the quarterback discussion from the past two seasons, you've just picked a new target for your bellyaching.

All we can tell is that there is something off about this year's offense compared to last years offense.  The only thing we can really know is that last year, Pederson was much more involved in all the aspects of the offense.  This year, we're told that Press has taken over the play calling.  Is it possible he also took over the film study?  Is it possible he'd also been given more responsibility on how practice is run?

To me, this all revolves around the fact that, besides Ridley and Harrison beging added, our starting lineup is almost exactly like last year.  So what changed?  The execution.  To me, a coaching staff has a lot to do with how well a team executes things.

Last year we executed way better than we did so far this year.  What's changed?  Ridley and Harrison?  That's why the entire offense has collapsed?  Obviously not.  But, if you were to tell me that Pederson handed over the majority of the offensive decision making to Press Taylor, then it becomes obvious why we've started so sloppy.
