they ARE taking shots - they just aren't getting enough protection to take the (probably silly) number you want them to take

You can be sick of cold hard facts staring you in your face all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that out crap o-line is negatively affecting our passing game at times. It is. You're gonna have to accept that eventually.

It isn't killing us, and it isn't going to keep us from taking shots, but you can bet your [BLEEP] that our staff is going to be smart about not getting Trevor killed. We're totally screwed if he goes down.

Bruh, you've spent 2 weeks telling everyone that we cannot run a WR deep because of the O-Line.

I just pointed out that he has time enough to go deep.  That's all.  It's not like I'm screaming that we need to go deep on every play.  Because I think we need a deep route every play doesn't mean I want Trevor to go deep every play.  Do you even football?  You have to constantly put pressure on the D that you have the ability to go deep.  Not that you are going deep every time.  Jesus, bro.  Do you just assume that everyone is a moron and you are the GOD of the FORUM?

This offense won't be successful if we only run 10 yard routes.  And it's obvious that our O-Line can protect long enough to stretch the field.  And better yet, we have a potential GREAT QB that can hit the deep routes.  The offensive scheme needs to press the Defense.  Yeah, we have a great RB.  But we also have a potentially great QB.  So running one 1st down 90% of the time in the first half isn't a great idea.  You gotta mix it up.  I mean, that's what other NFL offenses do...  Certain offenses even execute passing plays for 3 downs in a row!!!  Imagine that!!!  We're so vanilla that most defenses aren't forced to make adjustments.  We aren't pressuring defenses.  Sorry, but that's the truth.

The fact that we aren't pressuring the defense is a main reason we are 1-2.

I don't have to assume when you make it apparent in every post.

Also - your first sentence is complete horse [BLEEP].
I haven't tried to tell anyone that we can't run deep.
We are running deep. Just not often enough to suit several fans posting here.
I've merely tried to explain to that subset of fans begging for more deep stuff - that more of it will be a danger to the health of our QB. A danger we probably shouldn't risk.

They will continue taking some shots just like they have  - and they'll start hitting on them a bit more soon enough.
Then the whiners will whine less.

Here's a great example for you since you clearly need pictures and bright red script to learn from.
After the Jags threw a perfect deep strike for a would-be touchdown (dropped) , they came back the very next drive and were about to hit a big one if it weren't for - wait for it - pressure on the QB.
