What? What would you pay Allen?
It's easy throw a roast. But tell me what you'd pay Allen based on his performance?
Honestly, what is Josh Allen doing when it really matters that you think he needs to be over-paid??
Right now? If he keeps playing the way he's playing I think you offer him enough to make him a top five paid outside linebacker.
$15.8M would clear Joey Bosa. This would just put him behind Randy Gregory. Which is disrespectful really.
Watt, Judon, Hunter and Mack are really playing up to their top four slots but Bosa and Gregory are underwhelming, whether it's due to injuries or decline in general.

Only 2 players in Jaguars history have multiple 3- sack games. Jaguars legend Calais Campbell and Josh Allen. Only 2 players…offense, defense, special teams. Only 2 players have multiple
Allen now has the most sacks in franchise history through the first 4 games of any season in TEAM HISTORY, dating back to 1995.
He’s the only player to ever record 3 sacks and have 10 or more tackles in a SINGLE GAME. He’s the ONLY player in team history that has accomplished that.
Chop it up however you want but that is special. What you’re explaining is those offensive lineman get paid millions too. Everybody in the league is the most elite of elite in the universe.
I wish I knew the actual number of players that have suited up in a Jaguars uniform, practice squad, training camp, playoffs, regular season…Only 2 guys have ever had 3 sacks in 2 or more games.
2
I don’t care how they got those sacks. They gottem. Bottom line.
Only 6 players in Jaguars history have recorded 3 sacks in a single game.
yannick was better
As a pure DE, only required to rush the passer. Correct. As an overall player? No. Nowhere nearly as good as Allen.
Keep in mind. I wanted Allen traded last year before the deadline. Prior to the season turning around.
Allen helped seal our deal in beating the tacks in week 17 to clinch the division. I would rather have him now than not have him.
Especially given the fact that Baalke has failed miserably in drafting anybody comparable to him or outright better.
At the minimum. You tag him in 2024. Would be foolish not to.
