Beathard is steady and accurate. If Trevor misses the game (and I think he plays), it should and would be Beathard.

And I don’t get the confidence in Beathard.  The very definition of a game manager and not a good one.  2-10 as a starter is not good no matter how you want to look at it.  59% is ‘accurate’?

I don't have confidence in either but for my backup, I want a game manager who won't lose the game. I don't want a playmaker/gunslinger.

I want someone who will come in, execute the plays that Doug will call and then not turn the ball over. In Beathards last year truly getting playing time (2020), he was 64% with 6 TDs and no interceptions.

No confidence in either Beathard or Rourke but I think Rourke has the potential for a 3-4 turnover game if he plays.
