You must have missed the earlier post that Trevor isn't elite and the reactions to that. It looks like that's an insult and I can't undertand it. When was the last time this team had a Top-10 QB? It's been a while, hasn't it?

You mention a few things holding him back yourself. This seems mostly like confusion about the difference between now and in the likely future.

When is the last time we could say we had an adequate QB, let alone one in the “best” discussion? Garrard? Loved him but he was barely close to the top half of league and couldn’t fire the extra cylinder where he carried a mediocre roster to a victory (and  hate how his career ended here. Yes, exactly. He's possibly the best QB this team has had but let's be realistic about where he is - now. There are still things that is holding him back regardless of whether caused by the offensive line or playcaling.
