This is basically just handing the Texans a first round pick for nothing.
I get why you presented the scenario the way you did. But I think it'd have been slightly better if you didn't include our 2nd round pick this year as well. No swapping, because the Texans would still get their guy at 7 presumably. And I don't think there's a player worth trading next year's first for to move up 7 spots that will actually fall that far. If a franchise QB fell there, and I felt there wasn't going to be one available the next year, I'd consider it. But I don't think one will drop that far (without dropping a little further to be at #7 in the second round as well)
