Year two in Caldwell's system with some tweaks made to coverage schemes is allowing Herndon to be less of a liability and occasionally even make some good plays. 

So far he's only been fully exposed once. 
Andy Reid and Mahomes picked on him for 135 yards in week two. 
he gave up one TD vs ATL. 
And he let Carr connect 8 times for 54 yards but nothing big last week. 
Not a terrible start for a guy everyone wanted to be a backup. 

He has been sent on the DB blitz 8 times with 3 hurries and 2QB knock downs. 
He's allowing a 76.3% completion rate (not good)
He's allowing a 106 QBR when thrown on (also not good) 
He has a 16.7% missed tackle rate and 5 missed tackles

Anyway - yeah - that's what you get for 2.58 mil 

A good play here and there, a bunch of middling play, and an occasional shellacking
