26th in pressures is really good. There's 32 teams with a pair of DE's on each team, so that's 64 starters there, this also includes outside linebackers, another 64 starters. Then you get your rotational guys, etc.

So, realistically. 26th in total pressures through 8 games in a pool of 128 total players is pretty damn good. He's getting closer to converting those into sacks.

This is similar to how Josh Allen started off. High pressures, low sack totals. Eventually they hit home and convert. Good [BLEEP].

I guess that's why we're not hearing anything today on a possible trade. I hope the optimists are correct regarding Walker and his potential as a pass rusher. The only problem I have with the comparison to Josh Allen is that Allen demonstrated his pass rush abilities in college when he recorded 17 sacks his last season at Kentucky. Walker, on the other hand, had a total of 9.5 sacks during his 3 years at Georgia. We know he wasn't utilized primarily as a pass rusher at Georgia, but to assume that he would become a great pass rusher was a mistake on draft day. His growth between seasons 1 and 2 has not been significant enough to prove the skeptics wrong at this time.
