Yeah - his age, price tag, and injury frequency make him a wise cut in the offseason, but he's actually the only guy we can sort of count on between the tackles until the braintrust figure out what to do with Little and Ezra.

I find it odd to open three different threads today and see fans piling on him.
Weird. Go back and watch the last three games. Compare his play to the guy standing on his left. It is night and day.

And that's his choice - if he wants to test his viability in the tackle market this offseason.

Still a good deal for us to get depth at guard and tackle for a playoff run at the price of a 6th rounder. 

OL has been an issue all year. No guarantee Scherff makes it the distance without (another) injury, we don't know yet how effective Little is playing guard. (all we've seen is preseason and 1 series in a reg game) 

 Bartch and Shatley have both been bad, so now they have real options to solidify the interior line post bye. 

If it's never more than that, I'll take it gladly.
