I'm not posting this to bash Lawrence by any means, but i just want to show you an example of a TRUELY elite QB who had absolutely no time to throw, and WRS dropping passes. This is an example where you can blame everyone but the QB, in that SB loss the Chiefs had against the #1 pass rush in the NFL with 2 backups playing tackle.
Again, I don't expect an elite QB to always overcome horrible situations, but if you're going to call him elite he needs to at least be doing some elite things. Edit: Also wow at that second play on the clip, he threw a perfect dot in the endzone after spinning to avoid the pass rusher and he threw it while being spun down by the defender |
