Zay Jones Arrested

Not good. Your statement about making assumptions is totally correct. We can all speculate, but only the two (or3) people involved know what actually happened. At this point, my primary concern is for Zay Jones due to his history of depression. If I was to speculate, the knee injury and inability to play triggered a recurrence of this mental health issue resulting in the alleged episode he was arrested for. Total speculation on my part. Until other information comes out, this is what I choose to believe and am currently most concerned for his well-being. Zay had apparently turned his life around after leaving Buffalo and attributed this to his faith. Anyone who has seen this guy interviewed during the past year or heard about the respect he has earned from his current teammates would find it difficult to believe that Zay is a bad guy. I make no assumptions about the female involved for the obvious reasons, but naturally I hope she was not hurt badly in the incident. There are no bigger Jaguars fans than I. While the current team has obvious weaknesses and concerns, ultimately winning a Super Bowl due to Trevor Lawrence is something I still expect to happen at least once during this decade. Right now, however, my primary concern is for the well-being of Zay Jones. Football is a distraction we all love and count on, but what is happening to Zay is much bigger than that. For those of you who don't know Zay's history, I encourage you to read the article on "Go Long" by Tyler Dunne. Great article which provides tremendous insight into his life. |
