It makes a difference.

It's not that he's a world beater. He's a viable threat when the defense devotes energy to covering other routes. 
It leaves him matched up against beatable coverage and he takes advantage of that more than our next best options (Agnew/Tim) 
Besides all that - he's just a better receiver than those guys. 

Yes, we have other offensive woes besides missing Zay and he's not necessarily the thing "breaking" our production with his absence, but it would be better with him.

Now - the other Zay issues: 
All we can do is hope he's receiving and following the advice of good counseling legally and with his mental health right now.

It makes a difference, however, he's not been very active this year so it goes back to the main point. What is the coaching staff doing? Also, I can very EASILY counter argue that having Ridley in this offense this year should be opening up more opportunities and creativity for Kirk, Engram and Etienne in the passing game but it's not happening enough. 

Again, you drafted thirteen players back in April. You kept one undrafted receiver in Cooks. When or where are we going to start giving him more meaningful looks and opportunities? At this point. I have to start questioning the coaching staff, because, they've failed to fix the offensive line challenges whether it's personnel or play calls. They've failed in getting Bigsby going as a 3rd RD investment. They're failing in getting Lawrence to see and connect with Strange when he's given the few opportunities to go run routes. 

Ridley is being used poorly. Needs to be used in motion more, find better match-up's for him. Get other folks involved in different avenues and lanes of opportunities out there. I just keep seeing excuse after excuse after excuse and I am tired of it. It's the middle of November. I pray we see something different this Sunday. Again, enough of the excuses.
