I wish I thought there's another gear for this group and they'd turn into the 49ers, and while unlikely it could theoretically happen. It just seems unrealistic at this point.

Two years after being the worst team in the league, we are now arguably a top-10 team, leading our division, and you want to fire the GM because you don't think we're going to keep getting better?  <That is absolutely the worst reason I've ever heard for firing a GM.
