The solution under current rules is unofficially ref make-up calls to the extent that the ref as a human being feels guilty enough about a bad call/no call to take action to try to even the situation.  The real solution is bad calls/no calls should be reviewable in some fashion.  Perhaps all turnovers should get a booth review or be challengeable with egregious penalties able to be assigned after the fact.  I don't know what the solution is, but that [BLEEP] can't be allowed to happen.

I will say that our fans criticizing the announcers for being pro tinhorn are off base just as tinhorn fans are off base saying they were cheering for the Jags.  The play-by-play guy's job is to make the game sound exciting.  They're gonna get up for big plays more so by teams playing from behind because close games are more exciting than blow outs.  If you want a homer announcing crew, go tune in to marble mouth Frangie.

Bottom line is, if you didn't look at the score, the Jags largely dominated the tinhorns today.

I think we got several make-up calls when we got the ball back.  I don't know if it was the same ref who missed the call when the Texans held Engram, but there were two phantom holding calls on the Texans where the defender barely touched our guy.

Oh I’m aware.  They marched us down for the follow up score.  That’s how bad the initial no call was though.  Instead of us being at the outskirts of FG range with a 1st and 10 and very likely to go up 2 scores, they were instead granted the ball with a 1st and 10 at our 45 and were able to score and take the lead.  Its a major swing and turn of events that the refs were responsible for.  Marching us down for the follow up score doesn’t by itself erase the damage done.
