2.  Ridley is a nice addition.  But Zay Jones, when he was healthy was much more reliable.  Franchise Tag Ridley and make him prove it.  Plus we have Christian, Zay, and Engram for 2024.  This would be the sneaky best Reciever corpse in the NFL.

3.  Alukoun - his terms are coming due.  And he's worth every penny.  Allen is great.  But Alukoun is the man that makes the LB's and DL sync.  There's a reason our Rush D is top 4 in the league.  There's a reason Allen and Walker eat.  And it's Alukoun.  He needs to be kept, and it's gonna cost us 13 Million.

4.  The rest of our D for 2024 is under rookie contract or not up untill 2025... 

2025 will be the year we are probably gonna lose players we don't want to lose...  Unless we get some sort of hometown discount.  

All this bloviating is only to say that there is no reason that Baalke should not be able to re-sign Allen.  If I was Baalke, I'd front load 2024 so he gets paid, and then give him ample incentives to prove he's worthy of the next 3 years of the contract.  If he underperforms in 2024, we can drop him without a big cap hit, while still giving Allen an opportunity to move on if he become a Yannick type diva.
