Not only did we get a pithy return in draft choices, but ALSO had to PAY most of the money left. LOL! thats HORRIBLE negotiating.

 

I agree.  But in the end we achieved what we were trying to do.  We should have gotten better... And I would have held on for better, but I don't think we screwed ourselves either.  The biggest net here is the additional cap space we will have to work with in Free Agency.  Hopefully with that 7-12 million he would have cost we can bring in a player or two that perform at the same level or near it.
